Despite Scotland’s undoubted wealth a staggering one in four of our children still live in poverty. What’s more the latest official statistics suggest recent progress in reducing child poverty has stalled.CPAG in Scotland seeks to raise awareness of this scandal through the media and the publication, with partners, of Poverty in Scotland. We promote solutions to child poverty through policy and campaigning activity.
We provide a wide range of high quality benefits and tax credits training courses. We offer advice, information and support to advisers in Scotland about benefits and tax credits.
We offer specialist advice on children and families, tax credits, students and benefits and black and minority ethic communities.
We work to maximise family incomes by helping to ensure those eligible for tax credits and benefits have access to their full entitlements.
